Connecting to the EEEI Network
If you are inside the EEEI Building, you do not need to connect to the VPN. Instead, connect through eduroam (Using eduroam) using the certificate provided by UP EEEI and your EEE account credentials .
If you are outside the campus, connect through EEEI VPN (Using EEEI VPN)
COMSOL Installation and License Access for Windows
For this installation, you must be connected to the EEE Network via OpenVPN/WireGuard (when outside the EEE building) or via eduroam (when inside the EEE building)
Download and install the ONLINE installer of COMSOL (http://10.158.1.145/COMSOL/)
Open the installer then choose Language > English
You can Change License (for existing installation) or New COMSOL Installation we will choose this option for this guide
On the License Tab
Choose the “I accept the terms…” to accept the license agreement
License format: <port number> @ <hostname>
Port number: 1718
Hostname: 10.158.25.247
